Who Are You?
If you haven't braindropped with us before, now's the time. It's quick. It's easy. It's mind boggling for sure.
Let's find out who we really are and what we think of ourselves.
Get a piece of paper. Grab a timer and set it for 1 minute. Write your name at the top of your paper. Now, without thinking, write without stopping. Write every single thought word or phrase that falls out of your mind and reminds you of a trait or quality of yourself.
Some of your words may seem silly or even foolish. No worries. Just keep writing. If you get to a point where you can't think of anything else to write, write I can't think I can't think until something pops into your mind. Something will come to you, I promise!
I'll go first for ten seconds so you get the idea.
JAN
red hair
mother
animal lover
strong
scared sometimes
three sons
love to laugh
shy but nobody knows it
spontaneous
picnics
fairs
show horses
hate wearing white breeches
want to loose weight
love food
keep things bottled up too long
Okay...that was ten seconds for me. If you don't want to use a minute to write, try ten seconds. My list is longer than I thought it would be! Let me know what you think of this writing activity. It's the way I start every single thing I write. I find out what's buried in my mind!

Recalling New Details!
Believe it or not, every single day we see, hear, taste, or touch something new without even noticing. Our senses are amazing. Our mind's eye records the new happening and it's up to us to recall the details.
Right now take a minute to think about today and yesterday. What did your nose smell? What did your ears hear? What did your mouth taste? What did you feel...physically or emotionally?
Wake up your mind's eye. What did you notice in the past couple days that you really hadn't noticed before?
