Just curious, when you hear the words, fresh air, what is the first thing that comes to your mind?
Writers, please write a quick sentence to paint a picture for us.
Teachers, talk this one through with your kids for a few minutes. Words are the building blocks for all descriptive writing. Sharing ideas (through oral communication) is where the love of language begins!
Just so you know:
Fresh air reminds me of the faded cotten sheets blowing on the clothesline in my grandmother's overgrown backyard.
Your turn! Please comment.

Oh...I Love Fresh Air!
Fresh air is full of dew dripping off the tips of freshly mowed green grass!
A crisp morning breeze that bites at your nose and makes your eyes feel alert and your body feel like every sensation is an epifany of the day to come. Fresh air is best smelt and felt while viewing the sun rise through volcanic ash, Oh the colors.
The smell of sap and dew-damp earth that fills the lungs with an urge to hike.
...eh... not quite right, and probably too artsy. But that's all I got at the moment [smile].

I think of an early morning walk on the beach with the a slight light breeze hugs you and surrounds you giving you an instant comfort that you are alive and breathing fresh air

Fresh air makes me think of a cool breeze or of a crisp, sunny morning, or the seaside...
After surviving the sensation of broiling in the foggy smog of Torino in summer, breathing deeply the cool and fresh air of the Italian alps in summer is nothing short of astounding.
Fresh air makes me think of summers on the farm
and the smell of fresh cut hay.
Fresh air. Reminds me of when i visit the place where i grew up: The Azores!! Everytime i go back there, after the plane lands, and i finally get out of that airplane door and i take that long big breath, closing my eyes, that for me is fresh air!!
Fresh air whistling through my long dark locks, a Chopin nocturne singing out of the radio speakers, cruising at 70, and reveling in the glory of the first true day of spring.
I love the descriptions here, for me fresh air makes me think of flowers, being outside.
Walking among the flowers, closing my eyes and filling my lungs with scents of the flowers mingling among the evening smells of barbeques.

Open blue sky, white clouds on light breezes, summer meadows full of wild flowers and all the time in the world to enjoy it.
Glad to know you found your way back to my journey, Jan.
Fresh air is like a child's face lighting up.
