A Matter of Perspective

It's all how we look at things really. Take for example, the word colorful. It can be used in many different ways and for lots of different reasons. If someone told me that I was colorful, I might take it as a compliment or I might take it as an insult. It boils down to our personal views.

With that being said, let's have some fun with a word that can be personally attached to an opinion or a feeling about something or someone that you know in your heart. Along the same lines as colorful, let's try the word alluring. What in your life as been alluring? Was it something good or bad. Did that alluring thing bring you grief or happiness? Maybe it brought you excitement. Can one word really do all that? YES!!!!

Write one sentence (or more) and include the word alluring. Feel free to take artistic license and stretch the truth a bit if you want!

Was it just the perfume by its namesake, or was this babe, when it came down to it, incredibly alluring? The toenails got me, the hard skin on her prominent digits likewise. But the scent...aaah, she engulfed me in that. Animal and antagonistic!

The smoke in the air was thick and heavy. It's scent was too alluring to not give it a try. One try couldn't hurt, right? Wrong.

The only thing that comes to mind with the word alluring is something with sexual overtones, don't believe I've heard ever the word used beyond that......so am clueless on this exercise

Welcome home, thought we'd have an exercise that somehow associated with the beach, sun, sand, warm weather, vacations, etc.
