Writing Prompt Time

Plain and simple. Here it is:

Fortunately one day, I got a letter that said........

It's all yours! Paint with words to finish the sentence or create a paragraph. Anything goes! Can't wait to read what you have to say. You know I'll chime in too...I just can't help myself!!

By the way....if you have time, take a peek at my animal blog. Any money I earn from the google ads there is going towards a vet bill for my latest temporary rescue. This dog has all its shots, but is going to need a health certificate for across the state transport....

Fortunately one day, I got a letter that said it was a mistake, a computer error, and I didn't owe the inland revenue £500,000.00 after all. In fact it appeared they owed ME £5.00 and they would be paying me in installments!

Fortunately one day, I got a letter than said I could complain if I didn't want to receive more money from Social Security. I didn't complain at all! I guess they send this to everyone and not many people actually end up with an additional amount. (this really happened)

Fortunately one day, I got a letter that said please pay your overdue cable account on or before March 15, which I thought earlier that it would be disconnected.

Fortunately one day I got a letter that said... "Worry no more. You have inherited a large ranch from you Uncle Sneed. You can do with this ranch as you please. Acres and acres of undeveloped land are primed and ready for any of your friends or relatives who might want to leave there with you and your husband. Chefs (who are paid a generous wage) will prepare only the most delicious meals that can be eaten in your large ranch house dining room or in a country club like setting that is located on your 9 acre lake.

In addition, a lovely nursery for any orphaned animals will be fully staffed by professional vet techs. When these animals are ready, they will be returned to their natural habitat.

A large barn will house as many rescued dogs, cats, and horses as you like. Each of these animals will have its own person. Life will be good on the ranch...
