Question for You!

I'll get right to the point here. We've been writing together since January and I'm happy as a clam. Since writing is as natural to me as picking up the phone and talking to my best friend, this blog takes me no time at all. I love writing with you and I love the new blogging friends that I've made.

Since this is an interactive blog, I need to know what you'd like to do for the summer. Do you want to keep on just doing what we have been doing or would you rather do something else? I am willing to do anything (well almost anything) you'd like.

For those of you who truly do want to get published, we can work on that. For those of you who need to talk about igniting the spark of creativity in your children, we can do that too.

The reason that I'm saying all this is that soon I'm going to have a webpage up. It will direct people to my blog and it will offer services for a fee. I am not going to charge any of you anything. But since my freelance work is so down, I need to turn Ignite to Write into a business.
We'll see how all that goes. When you're creative, you're creative. Writing is what I love. Writing is what I do. I just have to figure out a new way to make it work financially for me.

Nothing will change for you at all. I would just like your feedback. Your visits to my new website will be greatly appreciated. It will help to encourage advertisers for me. That's all I will ask from you. As soon as my new website is ready please check it out. I'll make it interactive so it will hopefully be almost as much fun as this blog!

That's it. Thank you for making my life so interesting and this blog so much fun!

Jan

I'll be there on opening day! Good luck. I too want to earn a living doing what I love. I worked at jobs I hated far too long. Now I want to enjoy every moment... not just my days off!

Keep us posted. I've been lurking and absorbing here for some time.

Have you decided what book you're going to work on yourself next?

Looking at both of your blogs seems like you could do some animal books for kids.

I'm so glad you're as excited as me. What I would really like to do is get my TANGO and TILLY book published. For now, the industry is so slow, I think I'll work with teachers, writers, and homeschoolers on a more specific basis.

I'd actually love to write themed lesson plans to be used in the classroom or at home.

Since I'm a wealth of publishing knowledge (some useful, some not) I want to be able to share that too.

My heart is in writing for children...always has been. I usually include animals in my stories. I guess I would love to write anythig animal related. Any ideas?

I was thinking about the story you told about your son, Ryan and the Owl and the net...that would make a cute kids story and great book.

Good Luck

Hello Jan
Thanks for following. I can not wait to get to know each other. I just finished my first semester of college, and I am stoked about what I learned in writing class. I love to write and express myself through words. I cannot wait to learn what you have to offer. When I have more time I will read much more of your blog.

I'm a fan of things how they are but most likely I'll keep reading regardless because I enjoy your writing.

I love what you're currently doing now, but I would follow you anywhere!

So just let me know... and I'll be on that webpage, like a duck on a June bug!

I just accidentally found this blog. It sounds like it is lots of fun. I love to write, but often find that I need someone to tell me what to write about. I am fresh out of original ideas. I will be following both your blogs.

Go for the Goal (and gold). I just happen onto you blog somehow through One Minute Writer. I am into my second week of Blogging therefore I have little to suggest but my professional life has been in marketing and you can't reach a goal of any kind without starting. (now that was a great thought of wisdom,,lol)

May I check back from time to time? You are also invited to vist www.glnroz33.blogspot.com
thanks, Glenn

I think you should take your wonderful writing voice to the world and beyond! You have inspired me in so many ways - both personally and professionally. Of course I will be there at the debut of your web site! Best of luck in ALL your endeavors! Hugs, Christine
